2nd Prize in the “Writing in German” contest, 2010.

The German language department of the Official Language School – Barcelona Drassanes, organized a writing contest for basic, intermediate and advanced level students.

One of the topics was “In foreign shoes,” which I selected to participate as a student of Level 1 (A1).

The text talks about our daily roles and how naturally but unconsciously we switch roles during the day, putting ourselves in the shoes of others. Although these shoes makes us seem like foreigners to ourselves, they are part of who we are.
